Privacy at your quote

Cecilio Books LLC ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This is the secure area where you fill in and send your quote (secure.ceciliobooks.com). This page explains what we measure while you are here, and the choices you have.
Analytics
We measure how the quote pages are used so we can improve them. This analytics is first-party and aggregate: it tells us how many people finish a quote and which language they use, not who you are. It runs on our own servers, so no analytics script runs in your browser.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a complete opt-out: we turn analytics off for your visit on our servers, before any measurement, and we share nothing about you with Google Ads or Meta for advertising. You can also turn the advertising layer off with the "Your Privacy Choices" control on our marketing site (ceciliobooks.com); that choice travels with your quote, so we only share with Google Ads or Meta when it was on at the moment you submitted.
Cookies
Three cookies from our marketing site (ceciliobooks.com) are carried into this secure area because they belong to the parent domain. _cb_cid holds an anonymous visitor id that our server reads so your quote counts as part of the same visit, not as a new person. _fbp and _fbc are advertising ids, set only when the advertising layer is on. No analytics script runs here: our server only reads these carried cookies and sets none of its own. To remove them, block or clear the cookies for ceciliobooks.com in your browser. A Global Privacy Control signal (above) does not remove them, but it stops any measurement or sharing of your visit.
Your quote link stays private
Your quote opens from a private link with a token in its address. We never send that token, your email, or any message you write to an analytics service. The token is removed before any measurement leaves our servers, and we do not build a profile of you.
Advertising and sharing
When your quote becomes a client, we send the deal's value to Google Ads and Meta, together with a hashed version of your email and, when your visit came from an ad, the ad-click id that brought you here, so Google Ads and Meta can measure which ads bring real clients. Under California law this counts as "sharing" your information for advertising. It happens only when the privacy choice in effect when you submitted your quote allowed it (see "Global Privacy Control" above). We do not sell your information, and we do not share the quote details you write to us.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare for hosting, DNS, and edge delivery, and this secure area runs on Cloudflare Workers. We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate, first-party measurement, which we send from our own servers rather than from a script in your browser. When a quote becomes a client, we send the deal's value to Google Ads and Meta to measure our advertising, as described above. The cookies listed above are set by our marketing site (ceciliobooks.com), not by this secure area.
Data retention
We keep the quote information you enter for as long as our business relationship is active, and for a reasonable period after to meet legal, accounting, or reporting needs. You may request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, object to or restrict certain uses, and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email debora@ceciliobooks.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This area is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy occasionally. The date above reflects the most recent change, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
